Refunds and cancellation

Refund, cancellation, rescheduling, and deposit rules for Think Online audit engagements.

Scope

This policy applies to professional engagements with Think Online for financial audit of travel expense applications and related reviews described on this site. It does not cover physical product sales, software subscriptions, or training courses — we do not offer those.

Refund eligibility

Fees already paid may be refunded in whole or in part when cancellation meets the conditions below. Informational fee quotes on the website are not charges; only amounts paid under an engagement letter are in scope.

Timeframe to request

Refund or cancellation requests should be sent in writing to hello@think-online.digital within 14 days of the event giving rise to the request (for example, cancellation notice or disputed invoice), unless the engagement letter sets a different window.

Full refund

A full refund of amounts paid is available if you cancel in writing before fieldwork start and before we have begun substantive testing of claim files, provided the cancellation arrives at least 10 business days before the scheduled start date in the engagement letter.

Partial refund

If cancellation arrives fewer than 10 business days before start, or after intake work has begun (policy review, population analysis, or sample design), we may retain a portion of fees reflecting work already performed and non-recoverable scheduling costs. Retained amounts are itemised in writing.

Non-refundable items

  • The 30% deposit on engagements above ₩3,000,000 once fieldwork has started
  • Fees for completed sample testing, pre-close screening batches already delivered, or issued findings memos
  • Third-party costs expressly approved by you (for example, certified translation of foreign folios)

Refund process

Email hello@think-online.digital with the engagement reference, reason, and payment receipt. We confirm eligibility within five business days.

Processing time and method

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method where possible. Bank transfers may require additional account details for Korean domestic payments.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You may request rescheduling once without penalty if notice is given at least 10 business days before start and a mutually available window exists within 60 days. Later rescheduling may incur a scheduling fee stated in the engagement letter.

Deposits

Deposits secure the fieldwork window. They are credited to the final invoice. Unused deposits follow the full or partial refund rules above.

No-shows and delayed evidence

If your team fails to provide agreed claim extracts or access by the intake date, we may pause the engagement. Time spent waiting beyond five business days may be billed at the day rates in the letter. Repeated non-provision after notice may be treated as client cancellation with partial retention of fees.

Work already started

Once sample testing of travel expense applications has begun, fees for completed testing hours are due. Unused future hours may be refunded or credited per the partial-refund rules.
